With the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season just a few days from getting underway, let’s take a look at five bold predictions for it!

It’s here, it’s finally here! The 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season is here to stay! I want to congratulate all you race fans for making it through the long offseason. We can finally rejoice knowing that the Daytona 500 is scheduled to take place this weekend!

No more silly season, no more rumors; it’s time to see if everyone’s hard work will pay off in the upcoming months!

This annual post may be my favorite of the year, as I dive into the unknown and offer up some bold predictions for the 2019 Cup Series season! Traditionally, I split my predictions into two categories, the first of which are easy predictions. You can check out that piece by clicking here.

So what is the difference between what you are about to read and what I put on the table last time? The following bold predictions are based on edginess. These are things that aren’t guaranteed by any means.

Instead of predicting things that I’m nearly 100% confident in, I put my reputation on the line and dive deep into my crystal ball to see what shocking circumstances fans could be introduced to during the year. As a disclaimer, I don’t expect these to be perfect, but I have a hunch that each one of them could be right.
