The season finale of the 2019-2020 Formula E season is set to take place on the streets of London, England around the London Docklands and ExCel London.

The two races of the New York ePrix are scheduled to comprise the final weekend of action in the 2018-2019 Formula E season just like they did in the 2017-2018 season for the first time after the two races of the Montreal ePrix closed out the 2016-2017 season.

But for the first time since the 2015-2016 season, the two races of the London ePrix are scheduled to comprise the final weekend of action in the 2019-2020 season. In fact, the London ePrix has not been on the Formula E schedule at all since the 2015-2016 season.

The two races of the 2020 London ePrix are scheduled to take place at the ExCel Arena Circuit, which has been revealed as a partially indoor circuit featuring 23 turns around the London Docklands and ExCel London. It is set to go in and out of the ExCel London building itself.

Here is a video that Formula E posted on their Twitter page about the addition of these two races to the 2019-2020 schedule. This video features a layout of the track at which these races are set to be contested.

The previous Formula E races in London took place at the 17-turn, 1.818-mile (2.926-kilometer) Battersea Park Street Circuit in Battersea Park. In addition to comprising the final weekend of the 2015-2016 season, the two races of the London ePrix also comprised the final weekend of the 2014-2015 season, which was Formula E’s inaugural season.

However, the London ePrix was removed from the schedule following the conclusion of the 2015-2016 season as a result of the fact that protesters argued that the races caused a disruption and harmed the environment in a green space area, forcing race organizers to find a different location for future Formula E races in London.

Sebastien Buemi won race one of the 2015 London ePrix while Sam Bird won race two. Both drivers still compete in the sport on a full-time basis. Nico Prost, who no longer competes in the sport, won both race one and race two of the 2016 London ePrix.

The 2020 London ePrix races are scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 25, 2020 and Sunday, July 26, 2020.
