Kyle Busch has dominated yet another NASCAR Truck Series race, this time doing so in the Vankor 350 at Texas Motor Speedway.

The formula has really become this simple: if there is a NASCAR Truck Series race and Kyle Busch is competing in that Truck Series race, Kyle Busch is going to win that Truck Series race.

That formula held true yet again in Friday night’s Vankor 350 at Texas Motor Speedway, which marked the fourth of five scheduled starts for the driver of the #51 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota this season.

Busch has won each of the four Truck Series races in which he has competed so far this season, and he is now on a five-race Truck Series winning streak, as he won the race in which he made his final start of the 2018 Truck Series season at Pocono Raceway last July.

Busch, who started Friday night’s 147-lap race around the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) high-banked Texas Motor Speedway oval in Fort Worth, Texas in fourth place, won it by 1.269 seconds over Halmar Friesen Racing’s Stewart Friesen, who tied his career-high Truck Series finish by finishing in second in his #52 Chevrolet.

This victory is the 55th victory of Busch’s Truck Series career, extending his all-time record, and the 202nd victory of his NASCAR career, also extending his all-time record.

ThorSport Racing teammates Johnny Sauter, Grant Enfinger, who started the race from the pole position, and Matt Crafton were the highest finishing Ford drivers of the race. They finished in third, fourth and fifth place in their #13 Ford, #98 Ford and #88 Ford respectively.

DGR-Crosley rookie Tyler Ankrum, Niece Motorsports’ Ross Chastain, Young’s Motorsports rookie Tyler Dippel, On Point Motorsports rookie Brennan Poole and ThorSport Racing’s Ben Rhodes rounded out the top 10 by finishing in sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and 10th place in their #17 Toyota, #45 Chevrolet, #02 Chevrolet, #30 Toyota and #99 Ford, respectively.

The race featured a total of 16 lead changes among six different drivers. Aside of Busch, who led more laps than anybody else in the field with 97 laps led, five drivers led at least one lap of the race. Those drivers were Friesen, Sauter, Enfinger, GMS Racing’s Brett Moffitt and NEMCO Motorsports’ Joe Nemechek. In addition to winning the race, Busch won both stage one and stage two.

The race also featured a total of nine caution flag periods for 47 laps. Of these nine caution flag periods, seven took place as a result of on-track incidents while two took place as a result of the endings of stages one and two. Of the 32 drivers who started the race, 22 finished it and 15 finished it on the lead lap.
