Denny Hamlin earned his second victory of the season in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. How did this victory affect the NASCAR Cup Series Driver Power Rankings?

Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin entered the seventh race of the 36-race 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season, the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500, at Texas Motor Speedway as one of four drivers who had won at least one of the season’s first six races, as he won the season opener, the Daytona 500, at Daytona International Speedway.

Hamlin exited this 334-lap race around the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) high-banked Texas Motor Speedway oval in Fort Worth, Texas as one of three drivers who have won at least two of the season’s first seven races.

Joe Gibbs Racing’s Kyle Busch and Team Penske’s Brad Keselowski have also earned two victories each so far this season while Team Penske’s Joey Logano has earned one.

Hamlin, Busch, Keselowski and Logano have been the only four drivers who have won at least one race so far this season since after the season’s fourth race, the TicketGuardian 500, at ISM Raceway, over three weeks ago.
