The 2020 NASCAR Truck Series schedule was released earlier this week, and it features several changes similar to those in the 2020 Cup Series schedule.

The 23-race 2020 NASCAR Truck Series schedule has been released, and there are several changes in terms of which races are scheduled to be held when. Many of these changes correlate with the changes made to the Cup Series schedule, of which there were many.

Of the 23 races on the 2020 Truck Series schedule, 18 are scheduled to take place on the same weekend and at the same tracks as Cup Series races. The five Xfinity Series races at Texas Motor Speedway (June race), Iowa Speedway, Eldora Speedway, Gateway Motorsports Park and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park are the exceptions.

Of these five tracks, the only one that hosts Cup Series races is Texas Motor Speedway, and the Cup Series and Truck Series are still scheduled to share a weekend at the track in March.

But the 2020 Cup Series schedule did not change in that the same 24 tracks are still on the schedule, and the same 12 tracks that are scheduled to host two races in the 2019 season are scheduled to do so in the 2020 season while the same 12 tracks that are scheduled to host one race in the 2019 season are scheduled to do so in the 2020 season.

However, while the 2019 Truck Series schedule features 20 tracks, including 17 that are scheduled to host one race and three that are scheduled to host two races, the 2020 schedule features 21 tracks, including 19 that are scheduled to host one race and only two that are scheduled to host two races.

Richmond Raceway is not scheduled to host a race in the 2019 season, but it was added to the schedule as the host of one race in the 2020 season. Meanwhile, Martinsville Speedway is scheduled to host two races in the 2019 season, of which one already took place, but it is only scheduled to host one race in the 2020 season.

This means that Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Texas Motor Speedway are the only two tracks that are scheduled to host two races in the 2020 season. They are the other two tracks aside of Martinsville Speedway that currently do so.

Here is the full 2020 NASCAR Truck Series schedule. Races 17 through 23 are playoff races, marking a slightly revised playoff schedule for the 2020 season compared to the 2019 season.
