Follow along with our live updates of qualifying for the Pocono 400 to see who will start where in the 14th race of the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season.
A total of 37 drivers are set to qualify for the 14th race on the 36-race 2019 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, the Pocono 400, at Pocono Raceway, tying the eighth highest driver total on an entry list this season.
This race is the first of two scheduled races at Pocono Raceway this season. The second race of the season at the track is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 28. This race is the 21st race of the season.
Just six of the 37 drivers who are set to compete in tomorrow afternoon’s race at Pocono Raceway have combined to win the 13 races that have been contested so far this season. Four of these six drivers have combined to win 11 of those 13 races, and three of these drivers have combined to win nine of them.

Of the other 31 drivers who are set to compete in this race, 27 are full-time drivers, of whom 25 are eligible to score points in the Cup Series and two are not. The other four drivers who are set to compete in this race are part-time drivers.
Through the season’s first eight races, eight different drivers took one pole position. Since then, no new drivers have taken pole positions. One driver has now taken three pole positions so far this season while three others have taken two. it is worth nothing that if somebody other than the race polesitter wins tomorrow afternoon’s Pocono 400, the pole-to-win drought will reach 31 races, which would be a new all-time Cup Series record.
Who will take the pole position and who will qualify where throughout the rest of the field for this Sunday afternoon’s 160-lap race around the three-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) Pocono Raceway triangle in Long Pond, Pennsylvania?
