After more than a year, Sebastian Vettel has finally won another race. How did his Singapore Grand Prix victory affect the Formula 1 Driver Power Rankings?

Scuderia Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel finally ended his Formula 1 win drought at 22 races by winning the 15th race on the 21-race 2019 schedule at Marina Bay Street Circuit, the Singapore Grand Prix, ahead of teammate Charles Leclerc after Leclerc entered the race with two consecutive victories in the Belgian Grand Prix and the Italian Grand Prix.

How did Vettel’s victory in this 61-lap race around the 23-turn, 3.146-mile (5.063-kilometer) Marina Bay Street Circuit temporary street circuit in Marina Bay, Singapore affect the Formula 1 Power Rankings?

These Formula 1 Driver Power Rankings were calculated using a formula, which you can see here. But before they are revealed, take a look below at some of the highlights of this edition of these rankings.

As has been the case throughout most of the recent races, you can throw a blanket over the drivers ranked from #2 through #5 in these rankings, and once again, there were a few changes between these four positions.

Not surprisingly, given how tight the competition is, it was Sebastian Vettel who made the best move among the four drivers ranked between #2 and #5.

Also not surprisingly, despite the fact that he is now on a three-race win drought for the first time since the end of the 2017 season and the start of the 2018 season, Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport’s Lewis Hamilton is still the clear #1, and it would take a lot to change that.

Now let’s get started with the rankings.
