How have each of the four drivers in the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship 4 fared at Homestead-Miami Speedway in past races at the track?

The four drivers set to compete in the 2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship 4 at Homestead-Miami Speedway are Joe Gibbs Racing’s Christopher Bell, JR Motorsports’ Justin Allgaier, Stewart-Haas Racing’s Cole Custer and Richard Childress Racing’s Tyler Reddick.

Bell locked himself into the Championship 4 by winning the second of three races in the round of 8 of the three-round, seven-race playoffs at Texas Motor Speedway. Allgaier locked himself into it by winning the round of 8 finale at ISM Raceway. Both Custer and Reddick locked themselves into it on the strength of their point totals.

Bell, Custer and Reddick all competed in last year’s Championship 4. Allgaier competed in it in both the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

Leading up to this Saturday afternoon’s winner-take-all season finale, the Ford EcoBoost 300, how have these four championship contenders fared at the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) Homestead-Miami Speedway oval in Homestead, Florida?

Bell has competed in two races at Homestead-Miami Speedway, one as a part-time driver in the 2017 season and another as a full-time driver last year. He was knocked out of the race in 2017 with an engine issue, and he finished in 11th place there last year, giving him an average finish of 23.50.

Allgaier has competed in nine races at Homestead-Miami Speedway, one as a part-time driver in the 2008 season and eight as a part-time driver. He has never finished in the top five at the track, as his best finish there is his sixth place finish in the 2016 season. His only other top 10 finish there is his seventh place finish last year. His average finish at the track is 14.11.

Custer has competed in three races at Homestead-Miami Speedway, one as a part-time driver in the 2016 season and two as a full-time driver in the 2017 and 2018 seasons. After finishing in 17th place in his track debut, he won the race there in 2017 and placed second as the reigning winner in 2018, giving him an average finish of 6.67.

Finally, Reddick has competed in two races at Homestead-Miami Speedway, one as a part-time driver in the 2017 season and another as a full-time driver last year. After finishing in fourth place in his track debut, he won last year’s race there to be crowned Xfinity Series champion in his first season as a full-time driver in the series. As a result, his average finish at the track is 2.50.
