Formula 1 Driver Power Rankings Analysis

The Brazilian Grand Prix featured season-high finishes for each of the top five drivers and career-high finishes for four of the top five, and 12 of the drivers who entered the race ranked between #3 and #18 in these formulated Formula 1 Driver Power Rankings moved as a result of it.

Drivers typically in the running for “best of the rest” made up five of the top six positions as a result of the late attrition involving the usual contenders as well as a post-race penalty stripping one of them of a podium finish.

Four of the five drivers who recorded season-high finishes in this race moved up in these rankings, and two of them moved up multiple positions. Three of the four drivers who recorded career-high finishes moved up as well, with one moving up multiple spots.

Now let’s get started with the rankings.
