The 2020 IndyCar season is scheduled to get underway this weekend. Here are all the dates, times and television channels for each of the 17 races on the calendar.

Following an offseason of nearly six months, IndyCar competition is scheduled to get back underway this Sunday, March 15 with the 2020 season-opening Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida.

This race is the first of 17 races on the schedule, a schedule that was announced early last September when there were still two races remaining on the 17-race 2019 calendar.

Quite a few dates have shifted around from one year to the next, so do make note of some of those changes, specifically toward the beginning of the season and in the early to middle portion of the second half.

But there are only two changes as far as venues are concerned, with one track having been added and one being removed.

Richmond Raceway is on the schedule for the first time since it hosted on race each year from 2001 to 2009.

Meanwhile, Pocono Raceway is off the schedule for the first time since it was not on the schedule from 1990 to 2012.

In total, there are still 17 races at 16 tracks at 15 venues.

Here is the full 2020 IndyCar race and TV schedule.
