By Asher Fair
The full-time driver lineup for the 2020 IndyCar season is set, and it features 21 competitors among 10 different teams.
The 2020 IndyCar season is officially scheduled to get underway this Sunday, March 15 with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida, kicking off a 17-race campaign that is scheduled to last for over six months.
With the offseason between the 2019 and 2020 seasons coming quickly to an end, the full-time driver lineup is set.
A total of 21 drivers are slated to compete full-time throughout the 2020 season, although there are 24 confirmed full-time entries.

It is worth noting that one of the 21 full-time drivers, Conor Daly, is set to split time behind the wheel of the #59 Chevrolet and the #20 Chevrolet, meaning that there are 20 full-time drivers who are set to spend time behind the wheel of just one car throughout the year.
As a result, there are four full-time entries without full-time drivers, not three. They are at A.J. Foyt Enterprises, Carlin and Ed Carpenter Racing.
The #14 A.J. Foyt Enterprises Chevrolet, the #31 Carlin Chevrolet, the #59 Carlin Chevrolet and the #20 Ed Carpenter Racing Chevrolet are all set to be shared by multiple drivers.
Tony Kanaan, Dalton Kellett and Sebastien Bourdais are set to split time behind the wheel of the #14 Chevrolet, with Kanaan driving it in the five oval races, Kellett driving it in eight of the road and street course races and Bourdais driving it in the other four road and street course races. Kellett is set to drive a third entry for the team in the Indy 500 as well.
Felipe Nasr is set to spend time behind the wheel of the #31 Chevrolet (schedule not yet determined) with another driver or drivers who have not yet been named while Daly and Max Chilton are set to split time behind the wheel of the #59 Chevrolet, with Daly competing in the four non-Indianapolis 500 oval races and Chilton competing in the Indy 500 and the 12 road and street course races.
Finally, Daly and team owner Ed Carpenter are set to split time behind the wheel of the #20 Chevrolet, with Daly competing in the 12 road and street course races and Carpenter competing in the five oval races. Daly is also set to drive a third entry for the team in the Indy 500.
Without further ado, here is the full-time driver lineup for the 2020 IndyCar season.
