4. Autodromo Nazionale Monza

Autodromo Nazionale Monza is a very high-risk, high-reward race track. With this being said, it could produce some spectacular crashes if there were ever to be a virtual NASCAR race here.

Monza is an extremely fast track filled with quality passing opportunities. In a race with little to no consequences, NASCAR drivers would not hesitate to try to make some moves that probably would be frowned upon otherwise. It may be a good idea to bump up the maximum number of resets allowed if there were ever a race at Monza.

The Italian Grand Prix is always one of the most exciting races of the year in Formula 1. I would love to see what NASCAR’s top drivers could do in their stock cars there. Unlike Formula 1 cars, these cars aren’t really built to take on a track like Monza, but given the power of modern technology, we can see what it would be like virtually.

There is obviously no chance we will ever see an actual NASCAR race at the 11-turn, 3.6-mile (5.794-kilometer) road course in Monza, Italy. But that is a part of the brilliance of iRacing. This track would definitely make for some entertaining virtual racing.
