With the success that The Last Dance documentary has had over the last few weeks, here are five documentaries that could be made about specific NASCAR drivers and seasons.

With no major sporting events happening live, The Last Dance was the talk of the sports world over the last few weeks. The documentary focuses on the Chicago Bulls, specifically Michael Jordan and the 1998 NBA season.

Throughout the episodes, there are flashbacks to other years showing players in college and previous NBA seasons. Being the motorsports fan that I am, this got me thinking if there are any specific NASCAR seasons that could make an interesting documentary like The Last Dance. I quickly answered my own question, and the answer is a resounding yes.

There have been so many incredible seasons in the history of NASCAR, and so many amazing drivers have taken part in those seasons. So the real question is what driver and year would be the focus if there were a documentary like this? There are so many choices and it is almost impossible to narrow it down.

Here are five NASCAR seasons for which you could focus on one specific driver.
