Jimmie Johnson has won 83 NASCAR Cup Series races, but he hasn’t won since the 2017 season. Where will his next victory come?

Jimmie Johnson is a seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and widely considered one of the greatest drivers of all-time, but he hasn’t visited victory lane in the last 100 races. The driver of the #48 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet is set to retire at the end of the 2020 season, and many fans are wondering if he’ll be able to get at least one more win before he retires.

Johnson has come close to winning a few times since his most recent victory at Dover International Speedway in 2017, but it seems that there is always something that comes in the way. Crashes, mechanical failures or mental mistakes are just a few of the issues which Johnson has come across during the win drought.

After struggling in 2018 and 2019, Johnson has started the 2020 season strong, as he sits 12th in the championship standings just five races into the season. He could be much higher if not for crashes at Daytona International Speedway and Darlington Raceway. He entered the race at the latter in fifth.

With this strong start to the season, it’s no longer a matter of if but when he will win a race. But where will he do it?

Here are the five tracks where Johnson is most likely to end his win drought.
