Bubba Wallace will not be returning to Richard Petty Motorsports for the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series season. Where will he end up next year?

Bubba Wallace, who has become one of the most widely discussed drivers of the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series Silly Season, made the decision that the 2020 season will be his third and final season driving the #43 Chevrolet for Richard Petty Motorsports.

Wallace has driven the #43 Chevrolet for the team since taking over the full-time driver duties from Aric Almirola after Almirola left to replace Danica Patrick behind the wheel of the #10 Ford at Stewart-Haas Racing following the 2017 season.

The 26-year-old Mobile, Alabama native debuted for the team in 2017 and competed in a total of four races when Almirola was injured. He has made 103 starts for the team and has recorded three top five finishes, including one in each of his three full-time seasons, and nine top 10 finishes, including a career-high five so far this year.

Through the first 27 races of the 36-race 2020 season, Wallace sits in 23rd place in the championship standings, coming off of consecutive seasons that resulted in 28th place finishes.

With him moving in a different direction for next season, where might he end up? Here are three possible landing spots.
