There have been quite a few transactions involving charters ahead of the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season. Here is a list of those transactions.

Silly season for the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season has been going on for the last few months, and only now does it seem to be somewhat winding down, with much of the driver lineup secured for next year.

Not everything do with the driver lineup for the 2022 season has to do with drivers, however.

As has been the case for the last several seasons, there are still 36 charters in the Cup Series. Among other key benefits, a charter guarantees each car/team a spot in each and every one of the 36 races on the calendar.

Ahead of the launch of the Next Gen car next year, charters are considered to be about as hot of a commodity as they have ever been for teams, and this year’s silly season has proven it.

Multiple teams have exchanged charters already, and more announcements (at least three) are expected to come in the near future.
