Formula 1: Two bets that you absolutely cannot take

The 2021 Formula 1 world championship battle looks like it will come down to the wire, but there are two bets that you should completely avoid.

There are just six races remaining in the 22-race 2021 Formula 1 season, and just six points separate world championship leader Max Verstappen of Red Bull and seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes in the driver standings.

Over the last seven races, neither driver has held more than an eight-point lead over the other. Both drivers have led by exactly eight points during this span, and the lead has changed hands four times in the last six races.

So the 2021 world championship battle could very well be the first to come down to the season’s final race since 2016.
