Formula 1 Secret Santa is finally back. Despite all the talks of Lewis Hamilton’s possible retirement and the excitement for the 2022 season livery launches, it is essential to talk about the sport’s post-season content and what caught the eye.

While the controversy from the last race of the 2021 season will continue to drag on, the release of such post-season content from Formula 1 helps fans focus on the camaraderie that exists between the drivers.

Here are five things that caught the eye in this year’s Formula 1 post-season content.

F1 post-season videos: No. 1 – Fernando Alonso’s perfect Secret Santa

Fernando Alonso had the best Secret Santa. In the second half of the 2021 Formula 1 season, he had come alive spectacularly. This was capped off by the long-awaited podium, with him finishing in third place in the 2021 Qatar Grand Prix.

He received a cycling helmet from Valtteri Bottas, which was the same shade of blue as that of Alpine. But he probably gave the best gift to Daniel Ricciardo. A bottle of wine was followed by tattoos of Alonso’s face with the infamous “El Plan” written under it. The fact that he put the temporary tattoo on his own arm made it even better.
