After flying under the radar, Our Motorsports are looking to take another step forward in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with a three-car program.

Making their NASCAR Xfinity Series debut in 2020, Our Motorsports immediately faced the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic while still putting together a solid first season.

The team expanded to two cars for 2021 and steadily improved with some notable performances.

2018 Truck Series champion Brett Moffitt is returning for his third season behind the wheel of the #02 Chevrolet for Our Motorsports.

To complement him, Our Motorsports signed young driver Anthony Alfredo to drive the #23 Chevrolet and veteran Jeb Burton to pilot the #27 Chevrolet.

This is an excellent lineup for a young, up-and-coming team, with all three drivers boasting experience across NASCAR’s three national series.

Moffitt has found his new home in the #02 Chevrolet and is competing for Xfinity Series points, unlike last year when he initially declared for points in the Truck Series with Niece Motorsports before switching during the season.

The 29-year-old Grimes, Iowa native has a solid resume with 12 wins and a championship in the Truck Series, and he has made at least 45 starts in each of the top three series. If Our Motorsports continue to improve, Moffitt is primed to compete for a playoff spot.

Alfredo is only 22 years old, but he compiled good experience during the last two seasons. He drove in 19 Xfinity Series races for Richard Childress Racing in 2020 and ran the full Cup Series schedule for Front Row Motorsports last year.

Rounding out the team’s lineup, the journeyman driver Burton brings veteran experience with several dozen starts in each of the top three series. Last year, he collected his first Xfinity Series win at Talladega Superspeedway driving for Kaulig Racing.

Our Motorsports’ three drivers all have the potential to elevate the program and compete for playoff spots. In the season opener at Daytona International Speedway, Alfredo battled through early problems to finish in seventh place, while Burton finished in 19th and Moffitt finished in 34th after his involvement in a lap 91 crash.
