Must-have diecasts from the Daytona 500: No. 2 – Harrison Burton

The Wood Brothers Racing paint scheme is a classic when it comes to NASCAR paint schemes. This paint scheme can be tied back to 1976 Daytona 500 winner David Pearson. In the 18th running of the Daytona 500, Pearson beat out Richard Petty in one of the wildest finishes in NASCAR history.

In 2022, the Harrison Burton-driven Ford Mustang returned to the scheme that David Pearson made famous all those years ago. Wood Brothers Racing finally had the opportunity to bring back the golden chrome number to the car. This is a good example of why bringing back the chrome numbers was a great move by NASCAR!

Another reason why this diecast is a must-own is because this was Burton’s first Daytona 500 and 2022 is his rookie season. The talented 21-year-old landed a full-time ride with one of the most historic teams in NASCAR.

We could see his talent on Sunday when he found his way to the front of the field early on. Burton could very well go on to have a great career in the sport and having a diecast from his first Cup Series race could be worth a lot to collectors!

Order the Harrison Burton diecast from Fanatics for $9.99.
