NASCAR: New 23XI Racing partner giving away money

23XI Racing partner MoneyLion is handing out thousands of dollars — potentially more — to NASCAR fans throughout the rest of the season.

Before the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series season began, 23XI Racing announced the addition of MoneyLion as their Official Digital Banking and Cryptocurrency Partner. The move extended the award-winning digital financial platform’s run as a sponsor at the sport’s highest level.

Since the start of June, MoneyLion has been offering a promotion to help fans at the gas pump, with gas prices soaring across the country.

Fans have a chance to get their name on the #23 Toyota of Bubba Wallace or the #45 Toyota of Kurt Busch each week through the end of the 36-race season — and win a month’s worth ($500) of free gas as well.

To enter, all MoneyLion users need to do is comment on the weekly “Get Pumped Tuesday” MoneyLion Twitter post with their unique MoneyLion handle.

There will be two weekly winners who get their handles featured on one of the two Toyotas, and if their Camry wins, that user will win an additional $10,000!

Since this promotion began back in June, Wallace has finished as high as third place, with that season-best result coming at New Hampshire Motor Speedway earlier this month. Busch, who won at Kansas Speedway in mid-May, has finished as high as second, with that result coming last month at Nashville Superspeedway.

We recently spoke to Wallace about this initiative.

“I think coming into this deal for us, we wanted to find ways that are fun for the fans to be a part of our team and make it feel like they have some skin in the game,” Wallace told Beyond the Flag. “We all know how gas prices are soaring right now, so it makes perfect sense. Lucky winners will get a chance to ride on our race car, so when we win, they win.

“When Kurt or I win, they win an additional $10,000. We’re at a time when money is important, super important, and giving them a chance to win that is a lot of fun.”

He also spoke about the overall impact that MoneyLion has had since signing with the second-year team back in February.

“I think for them it’s about making sure that you understand everything about money,” he explained. “They want to make money an action word, something that you do. And so that’s been a lot of fun to learn and figure out what that entails for them, and making this — their app, their company, their brand — a one-stop shop for everything that has to do with money: how to make it, how to save it, how to spend it in all the right ways. So it’s really cool.”
