Following a few recent announcements, there are just three teams left without any confirmed drivers for the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season.

Two teams recently solidified their driver lineups for the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season after having previously made no confirmations.

Kaulig Racing announced that Justin Haley is set to return to the #31 Chevrolet and A.J. Allmendinger is set to become the full-time driver of the #16 Chevrolet, while Spire Motorsports announced that Corey LaJoie is set to return to the #7 Chevrolet and Ty Dillon is set to become the full-time driver of the #77 Chevrolet.

That leaves just three teams that haven’t yet made any announcements regarding their lineups for next year. Who are they?

Front Row Motorsports generally don’t announce their driver lineup for the following season until late in the year, and that appears to be true again in 2022 for 2023.

The team haven’t gone a single season without making a driver change since they began competing in the Cup Series in 2004, but that trend is likely to end next year.

Michael McDowell and Todd Gilliland are both expected to return to the team next year, the former behind the wheel of the #34 Ford for a sixth season and the latter behind the wheel of the #38 Ford for a second.

There had been speculation that Zane Smith could replace one of them, but he recently signed a multi-year extension with the organization’s Truck Series program. He is expected to make select Cup Series starts in a third entry, including one in the season-opening Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway.
