Possible Daniel Ricciardo Formula 1 landing spots: No. 2 – Alfa Romeo

Alfa Romeo could be another enticing option for Daniel Ricciardo as he assesses his prospects for next season. They have made impressive strides with the C43 this season and look to be in a midfield battle.

Despite their solid performances this season, a spot could open up for Ricciardo. Guanyu Zhou will be under pressure this season since his contract is up, and if he does not perform to the team’s expectations, Alfa Romeo could look elsewhere to fill the gap.

Ricciardo and Valtteri Bottas partnering up could be quite a treat. Both are experienced drivers who have had their fair share of success in Formula 1. Alfa Romeo could be enticed by the potential of this driver duo and the direction in which their car is going.

The team are clearly on the right path, based on their improvement over the past few seasons, and they could choose to take another big step forward by signing Ricciardo.

As things stand, they are eighth in the constructor standings. They are one point behind Haas, two points behind Alpine, and six points behind McLaren. With the addition of the Australian, Alfa Romeo could look to lead the midfield battle, or potentially even enter the battle with the big teams, just like Aston Martin have done this season.
