Possible Daniel Ricciardo Formula 1 landing spots: No. 3 – Alpine

As unlikely as this may be, it is something that could turn into reality for Daniel Ricciardo. Alpine’s French driver duo are both under contract through the end of 2024, and Pierre Gasly has the option to stick with the team for 2025 as well.

The only possible way that Alpine could look to change up their current lineup is if one of them does not perform to expectations, or the team feels like they are not making the progress they desire.

Alpine won the midfield battle last season and are looking to do so again this season. But the potential addition of Ricciardo could give them the big break they have been looking for. Despite recent struggles, he is still a good driver, and when he is confident, there is no stopping him on the race track.

There is a lot of potential for mutual benefit with this move. It could push Alpine into the battle with Ferrari, Mercedes, and Aston Martin, which is what they hope for.
