The 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season has been nothing short of thrilling, and fans should make sure to circle a few upcoming races on their calendars.

May is always a special month for motorsports. While this month will provide us with some amazing NASCAR events in itself, it also sets us up for a summer stretch which features many highly anticipated events.

With the introduction of the Gen 7 car, tracks which previously had average or lackluster products have seen their races transform into highly competitive events which provide fans with many storylines.

With the upcoming stretch of exciting events, there are several races that all NASCAR fans should circle on their calendars.

NASCAR races to circle: Honorable mention – All-Star Race

While this event isn’t a points race like the other three events which are listed on the upcoming slides, it still is very much worthy of an honorable mention at a minimum.

Fans who know anything about the sport’s history know the general story of North Wilkesboro Speedway. The same fabled facility that hosted Cup Series races for almost five decades before being left largely abandoned to wither is back to play host to what should be a memorable All-Star Weekend.

Anticipation of the event has been high ever since the official announcement of the track’s return to the schedule last year. Adding in NASCAR’s 75th anniversary celebrations, the event will take on a whole new meaning for drivers and fans alike.

While some unknowns remain about the racing product the track will produce, the atmosphere and excitement surrounding this event make it worthy of watching.
