Possible Felix Rosenqvist landing spots: No. 2 – Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing

Given the fact that Jack Harvey’s stint with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing remained nothing more than extremely disappointing throughout year number two with the team, it was all but guaranteed that they would sign somebody else for 2024.

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing got ahead of the game by cutting Harvey with three races remaining on the 17-race schedule.

But their decision to assess the performance of new drivers, including IndyCar veteran Conor Daly and former Formula 2 driver Juri Vips, behind the wheel of the No. 30 Honda throughout the season’s final three races indicate that they have not yet made up their mind.

David Malukas and Linus Lundqvist had been rumored as possible teammates for Christian Lundgaard and Graham Rahal last year, but the former is likely to end up elsewhere and the latter has already signed with Chip Ganassi Racing as the Andretti Autosport-bound Marcus Ericsson’s replacement.

Felix Rosenqvist, however, remains unsigned, and a move to a resurgent Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing team could be the move he needs to make to get his career back on track following a winless three-year stint with Arrow McLaren.

While Rosenqvist has been viewed in high regard by the team, however, they should remain cautious. The same was true for Harvey, when Graham Rahal himself recruited him to the team from Meyer Shank Racing ahead of the 2022 season.
