Corey Heim made the 11th of his 12 scheduled NASCAR Cup Series starts behind the wheel of the No. 67 Toyota for 23XI Racing this past weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The Brickyard 400 winner had been lined up to make his final start of the season in the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November, but a late change has been made to his schedule as he inches closer to his first full season in the series next year.

Heim's schedule has been expanded to 13 races for 2026, and the 12th race is now scheduled to be this weekend's race at Phoenix Raceway. The No. 67 Toyota is the only non-chartered (open) car on the entry list for this 312-lap race around the four-turn, 1.022-mile (1.645-kilometer) Avondale, Arizona oval.

Corey Heim set for two more Cup races in 2026

He is still set to compete in the season finale at Homestead-Miami three weeks later, but he is not expected to run the races at Talladega Supersepedway or Martinsville Speedway in between.

Next year, Heim, who also won the series' inaugural race on Naval Base Coronado back in June, is set to replace Riley Herbst behind the wheel of the No. 35 Toyota in a lineup that consists of Bubba Wallace in the No. 23 Toyota and Tyler Reddick in the No. 45 Toyota. Herbst is set to move to fellow Toyota team Legacy Motor Club as they expand from two to three cars.

Because he is eligible for points in the Craftsman Truck Series, having run seven races (and won three of them) for Tricon Garage after winning the championship with a 12-win season a year ago, Heim is not eligible for Cup Series points.

But the No. 67 team is eligible for points in the owner standings, and Heim has averaged 27 points per race, which is good for 10th-best in the series, an average that would have placed him solidly in the playoffs had he run the full schedule.
