Gateway NASCAR playoff race, full Enjoy Illinois 300 starting lineup

The starting lineup is set for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series postseason race at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway.

Team Penske's Joey Logano took the pole position for Sunday's Enjoy Illinois 300 NASCAR Cup Series "Chase" postseason race at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway.

Logano secured the top spot for this 240-lap race around the four-turn, 1.25-mile (2.012-kilometer) Madison, Illinois oval by recording a top lap speed of 137.124 miles per hour in his No. 22 in Saturday's qualifying session.

It was the first qualiyfing session of the playoffs after the Cook Out Southern 500 qualifying session at Darlington Raceway became the sixth of the year to be canceled due to inclement weather.

Hendrick Motorsports' Kyle Larson, whom Logano beat to the top spot by 0.276 seconds, is set to start beside him on the front row behind the wheel of his No. 5 Chevrolet.
