Marina Bay Street Circuit is set to wrap up the first of three consecutive tripleheaders to conclude the 2026 Formula 1 season with this Sunday's Sinagpore Grand Prix, race number 17 on this year's 23-race schedule.
But first, the 19-turn, 3.07-mile (4.941-kilometer) temporary street circuit in Marina Bay, Singapore is set to host the sixth and final sprint race on the 2026 calendar. With Sunday's Singapore Grand Prix set to be a 62-lap race (or two hours, whichever comes first), Saturday's sprint race is set to run for 21 laps (or one hour).
The 2026 season is the sixth season in which Formula 1 has run sprint races ahead of select Grands Prix. Marina Bay has never previously hosted one. The Singapore Grand Prix itself has been run 16 times, with the polesitter earning 11 victories and just two winners coming from lower than third on the grid.
Every single sprint race has been won from the front row this year. In fact, only one of the season's first 16 Grands Prix was won from lower than second on the grid. Will that trend continue in Singapore?
