NBC's portion of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series broadcast schedule got underway two weekends ago at Iowa Speedway, although after Versant split from Comcast and NBC in late 2025, this year's broadcasts are officially branded as USA Sports broadcasts, rather than NBC Sports broadcasts.
That being said, nothing has changed as far as which channels these races are on. After the new seven-year, $7.7 billion media deal went into effect ahead of the 2025 season and Amazon Prime Video and TNT Sports entered the picture, NBC's portion of the calendar dropped from 20 races to 14, and after those 20 races were split evenly between NBC and USA Network, USA is still responsible for 10 while NBC dropped to four. That remains true in 2026.
Like the races at Iowa and Richmond Raceway, this Sunday afternoon's Dollar Tree 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway is set to be shown live on USA Network.
Dollar Tree 301 at New Hampshire not on NBC
This 301-lap race around the four-turn, 1.058-mile (1.703-kilometer) "Magic Mile" oval in Loudon, New Hampshire is the third of three straight races on USA Network to open up the closing portion of this year's broadcast schedule.
Next weekend's regular season-ending Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway is set to be the first race actually shown live on NBC this year, although the broadcast is still set to be branded as a USA Sports broadcast. Beyond that, NBC isn't set to air another race until late October.
It is set to broadcast the final three races of the season from Talladega Superspeedway (Sunday, October 25), Martinsville Speedway (Sunday, November 1), and Homestead-Miami Speedway (Sunday, November 8). USA Network is set to broadcast each of the first seven playoff races, starting with the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway on Labor Day Weekend.
Leigh Diffey is the lead announcer and is joined by analysts Jeff Burton and Steve Letarte, whether a race is shown live on NBC or USA.
USA Network's live coverage of the Dollar Tree 301 from New Hampshire Motor Speedway is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. ET this Sunday, August 23, following a decision to move it up by an hour due to impending bad weather. Catch all of the action from the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series regular season's penultimate race!
