Garage 66, the team formerly known as MBM Motorsports, have made a total of 10 appearances in the NASCAR Cup Series so far in 2026, with four different drivers spending behind the wheel of the No. 66 Ford.
Unfortunately, two would-be appearances were scrapped from the schedule, as the team had planned on entering both the race at EchoPark Speedway (Atlanta Motor Speedway) in February and the race at Chicagoland Speedway in July before withdrawing from the entry list late in the week.
Josh Bilicki was the driver who had been lined up to run the race at Chicagoland. Bilicki led the team with six starts during the 2025 season, but his only start in 2026 up until the Chicagoland withdrawal was the May road course race at Watkins Glen International.
Josh Bilicki set for NASCAR Cup return at Richmond
Chad Finchum, who leads all drivers with six starts in the No. 66 car this year, competed for the team when they made their most recent appearance at North Wilkesboro Speedway in July. But it's Bilicki who is set to return this weekend at Richmond Raceway for what is slated to be his first start in a Cup Series oval race in more than a year.
Bilicki has not competed on an oval in the Cup Series since July 2025, when he drove the No. 66 car in the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He has, however, competed in plenty of NASCAR oval races this year, having been competing full-time for SS-Green Light Racing in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.
With the No. 66 car being the only non-chartered (open) car on the entry list for Saturday night's 400-lap Cook Out 400 around the four-turn, 0.75-mile (1.207-kilometer) Richmond, Virginia oval, it is locked into the race.
