Saturday night's Bass Pro Shops Night Race, commonly referred to as the Bristol Night Race, at Bristol Motor Speedway is set to mark the halfway point of USA Sports' portion of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series broadcast schedule.
While the season-ending 14-race portion of the schedule is now classified as USA Sports' portion, rather than NBC Sports' portion, since Versant Media, which split from Comcast and NBC in late 2025, is USA Sports' parent company, the actual channels remain the same, with 10 of those races on USA Network and the other four shown on main NBC.
NBC has aired just one race so far this season, that being the regular season finale at Daytona International Speedway in late August, and it is not slated to return for more than a month.
Bristol Night Race not being shown live on NBC
Saturday night's 500-lap race around the four-turn, 0.533-mile (0.858-kilometer) high-banked oval in Bristol, Tennessee is the third race of the playoffs, and USA Network is responsible for the first seven races on this year's 10-race "Chase" postseason schedule.
Upcoming races on USA Network also include the next four races at Kansas Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, and Phoenix Raceway.
NBC is then set to wrap up the season with three races in a row from Talladega Superspeedway, Martinsville Speedway, and Homestead-Miami Speedway. Those races can be watched for free with a free trial of FuboTV.
The broadcast booth consists of the same three individuals for races on USA Network and NBC, with Leigh Diffey calling the action for the third year in a row alongside Jeff Burton and Steve Letarte, who are now both in their 12th seasons as analysts.
USA Network's live coverage of Saturday night's Bass Pro Shops Night Race from Bristol Motor Speedway is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET, although pre-race coverage is set to be provided beforehand starting at 7:00 p.m. ET.
