Through the first 21 races of the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season, 14 different drivers have spent time behind the wheel of Kaulig Racing's "Free Agent" truck.
The No. 25 entry is their fifth entry in what is their first season with Ram Trucks, and first in the series overall. It's Ram's first season since 2016 and first in which they've provided a team with factory support since 2012.
The newest driver to run the No. 25 Ram is Regan Smith, who hadn't previously competed in a Truck Series race since 2017 and hadn't previously competed in any NASCAR national series race since 2019.
Regan Smith replacement confirmed for Phoenix Truck race
After a 23rd place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway in September, Smith returned and placed 17th at Charlotte Motor Speedway this past weekend. This coming weekend, however, it's Conor Daly who is set to replace Smith and make his third start of the year.
Daly hadn't run a Truck Series race, or any NASCAR national series race, since 2024 before competing for Kaulig Racing at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park back in July. He placed 26th in that race and then returned at Kansas Speedway and earned a career-high 16th place finish.
Beyond this weekend, there are three races remaining on the 2026 schedule, and Kaulig Racing have only one more race for which they've yet to confirm a driver.
Tony Stewart, who ended his own 20-year hiatus by becoming the No. 25 Ram's first driver of the season at Daytona International Speedway in February, is set to compete at Talladega Superspeedway next weekend, and Carson Ferguson, who competed at Bristol in April and Nashville Superspeedway in May, is set to compete at Martinsville Speedway the following weekend.
The team have not yet confirmed a driver for the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November.
The No. 25 truck has three top 10 results this season, all on road and street courses. Its top oval finishes of 11th were earned by Ty Dillon at EchoPark Speedway (Atlanta Motor Speedway) in February and Parker Kligerman at Texas Motor Speedway in May.
The Zero Carbon Bioethanol 150 is set to be shown live on Fox Sports 2 from Phoenix Raceway beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET this Friday, October 16. Don't miss any of the action with a free trial of FuboTV today!
