Natalie Decker has run select races in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series each year dating back to 2021, after running the majority of both the 2019 and 2020 Craftsman Truck Series seasons.
Her husband Derek Lemke, however, has not driven in an O'Reilly Series race. But that is set to change this weekend at Iowa Speedway.
Lemke is set to make his series debut behind the wheel of the No. 91 DGM Racing with Jesse Iwuji Motorsports Chevrolet in Saturday's 250-lap race around the four-turn, 0.894-mile (1.439-kilometer) Newton, Iowa oval.
Derek Lemke set for NASCAR O'Reilly Series debut
The 32-year-old Shakopee, Minnesota native is set to become the eight different driver to pilot the No. 91 car this year.
That car was most recently driven by its primary driver, Mason Maggio, at Indianapolis Motor Speedway two weekends ago, and it has also been driven this season by Trackhouse Racing Cup driver Ross Chastain as well as JR Motorsports championship contender Carson Kvapil, who finds himself second in the standings after his Indy victory.
Lemke does have NASCAR national series experience, having most recently competed in May's Truck Series race at Nashville Superspeedway for Team Reaume behind the wheel of the No. 22 Ford, the same truck Decker drove at Watkins Glen International and Dover Motor Speedway earlier in the year.
In his first start since 2023, he finished in a career-high 21st place. His first two starts came with Reaume Brothers Racing at Richmond Raceway and the Milwaukee Mile three years ago, and he finished in 33rd and 31st, respectively.
Decker has run three O'Reilly Series races for Joey Gase Motorsports
with Scott Osteen so far this season, most recently at Pocono Raceway in mid-June, and does not currently have any others planned. She also does not have any plans to return to the Truck Series following what transpired at Dover in May.
Beyond this weekend, Lemke does not have any additional races planned for 2026.
