Natalie Decker made her fifth start of the 2026 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series season two weekends ago at Bristol Motor Speedway, and while her entry was fielded in collaboration with Young's Motorsports, the team she drove for a few weeks prior at Daytona International Speedway, it marked her first start with Team Stange Racing with Mike Harmon Racing.
Decker, whose 22nd place finish at Daytona was tied for her best in any NASCAR national series since 2024, was knocked out of the Bristol race early with transmission issues and scored 37th, her worst result in the series since her 2021 debut at the Daytona road course.
Decker, who also ran three races for Joey Gase Motorsports with Scott OSteen earlier in the year, does not currently have any plans to return to the O'Reilly Series before the 2026 season concludes.
Natalie Decker replacement confirmed at Las Vegas
While the No. 47 Chevrolet she drove at Bristol is not a full-time entry, it is set to be fielded once again this weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, following the series' final off weekend of the 2026 season, and it is Dawson Cram who is set to take Decker's place.
The 25-year-old Ballantyne, North Carolina, native has made a total of 13 starts in 17 appearances this season and has recorded a top finish of 21st place on Naval Base Coronado when he drove for Joey Gase Motorsports with Scott Osteen. After making seven appearances with Mike Harmon Racing, three of which resulted in DNQs, he made six starts in six appearances for Gase's team.
He has since made four appearances with Team Stange Racing with Mike Harmon Racing, and he has recorded three DNFs and a DNQ. Beyond this weekend, the team have not confirmed any plans to run the No. 47 car in any of the season's final five races.
Cram's career-high finish is a 19th place effort at Phoenix Raceway in 2023. His best result at Las Vegas is 31st the same year, although he also ran 21st in a Craftsman Truck Series race at the track in 2021.
