NASCAR: Previewing The 2015 Free Agent Class
Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports
The 2015 season is only six races old but it’s never too early to start looking ahead. After the conclusion of the 2015 season in November there could be a good number of drivers looking for new teams (or already in a position to sign with a new team). Last season the 2014 free agent class centered around Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle. In the end Edwards left Roush Fenway Racing to join Joe Gibbs Racing and Greg Biffle remained with RFR. The other big free agent last season was Marcos Ambrose who decided it was best to leave NASCAR as opposed to re-signing with Richard Petty Motorsports or looking for another team.

The 2015 free agent class could potentially be bigger than the 2014 one. The 2015 class also has the potential of having some bigger names out there. This article will take a look at each driver that could become a free agent when the season ends. It will also offer predictions about what the fate of each driver will be.
