After Brad Keselowski accused NASCAR’s Toyota teams and drivers of sandbagging this weekend at Michigan, Kyle Busch called him a moron.

Kyle Busch, the driver of the #18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, did not take too kindly to Brad Keselowski’s recent comments accusing NASCAR‘s Toyota teams and drivers of sandbagging at Michigan. Here are Keselowski’s comments on the subject.

"“About this time every year NASCAR takes all the cars to kind of check to make sure that the competitive balance is where they want it to be, and I think we’ve seen the last two or three weeks that the Toyota cars are pretty dominant.”“We had a strong suspicion that those guys would kind of tune it down this weekend, so not to post a pretty big number in inspection that maybe balanced back out the competition, and potentially that’s right because our team hasn’t done much differently and those guys are just not as fast as they’ve been the last few weeks.”“So we’ll know for certain at the end of the week based on whether NASCAR takes the cars after the race today.”"

Keselowski has a point, as Toyota drivers do hold the top 2, three of the top 5 and four of the top 9 spots in the championship standings after dominating the last five races and winning four of them. But here is how Busch responded to Keselowski’s accusations.

"“Brad’s a [expletive] moron. We don’t just turn it down. We actually have a new engine package here this week. He’s a moron.”"

Busch has a point as well, especially seeing as how Toyota drivers have six victories so far this season compared to the eight wins each by Chevrolet and Ford drivers. Which driver, if any, took it too far?

Do you agree with Kyle Busch that Brad Keselowski is a moron, or do you think Toyota is really sandbagging? Do you think Toyota drivers have taken such great offense to Keselowski’s comments simply because they are not true or perhaps because he exposed those drivers?
