NASCAR: Are Aaron Rodgers and Danica Patrick dating?
By Asher Fair
An eyewitness claimed that NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers and NASCAR driver Danica Patrick were seen on a date after Christmas. Is it true?
According to sports gossip blog Terez Owens, an eyewitness spotted NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers and NASCAR Cup Series driver Danica Patrick on a date after Christmas in his “favorite restaurant”. These initial reports have not been confirmed nor refuted at this point.
Rodgers, 34, separated from actress Olivia Munn, 37, back in April after the couple spent three years together. Patrick, 35, separated from fellow NASCAR Cup Series driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr., 30, just a few weeks ago after the couple spent nearly five years together.
Here is what the eyewitness claimed went down in the restaurant, according to usmagazine.com.
"“Danica [Patrick] and Aaron [Rodgers] were all over each other, kissing and couldn’t seem to keep their hands off each other.”"
If it were this obvious, you would think that their relationship would have been confirmed by now. The eyewitness went on to state that Rodgers and Patrick “want to keep this quiet for now”, which really doesn’t fit with the whole narrative of being “all over each other”. The whole ordeal seems rather suspicious whether it ends up being true or not.

Rodgers, who plays quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, only played in seven of the team’s 16 games this past season thanks to being injured in the sixth game of the season. He left the team’s sixth game of the season against the Minnesota Vikings with a broken collarbone.
He returned in the team’s 14th game of the season against the Carolina Panthers with the team hoping to make a run at their ninth consecutive playoff appearance, but he was placed on injured reserve after the Packers lost that game and then the Atlanta Falcons defeated the Tamp Bay Buccaneers to eliminate the Packers from earning a potential playoff berth, something they had not failed to do since the 2008 season.
Patrick announced her retirement from the Cup Series this past November after five seasons driving full-time in the sport for Stewart-Haas Racing. She did, however, also announce that she would not officially retire until racing in the 2018 Daytona 500 and the 2018 Indianapolis 500, although she does not yet have rides lined up for either of those two signature races.

Until the relationship between Aaron Rodgers and Danica Patrick is confirmed by a reliable source, which won’t happen if there is actually no relationship, it’s not what you’d consider “news”. The “news” in this case is that the rumor is going around — the news is not the actual rumor itself, hence why it’s called a “rumor” and not “news”.
