Former NASCAR Cup Series driver Danica Patrick has confirmed the news that she is dating Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback of the NFL’s Green Bay Packers. This story has been a rumor for much of 2018.

This story was first reported about two weeks ago on sports gossip blog Terez Owens. According to the blog, an eyewitness saw the two athletes at a restaurant after Christmas.

Here was the eyewitness account of what went down at that time.

"“Danica [Patrick] and Aaron [Rodgers] were all over each other, kissing and couldn’t seem to keep their hands off each other.”"

Just days later, Patrick, 35, was asked by a reporter from theblast.com about whether or not the rumor of her and Rodgers dating was true.

Here is what the reporter asked.

"“Let me ask you this: any truth to the Aaron Rodgers stuff — the dating rumors?”"

Patrick, a fan of Packers rival Chicago Bears, did not answer the reporter, but she smiled at him. Now, however, she has confirmed that these rumors are true, according to ESPN.

"“Yes, Aaron [Rodgers] and I are dating. I told him a long time ago I’d always root for him as a player. Now I am probably going to cheer for the whole team. Take out the word ‘probably.’ Now I’m going to cheer for the whole team.”"
