NASCAR Xfinity Series: 2018 Boyd Gaming 300 at Las Vegas results

Kyle Larson took the checkered flag in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race, the Boyd Gaming 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Chip Ganassi Racing’s Kyle Larson led 142 of the 200 laps around the 1.5-mile Las Vegas Motor Speedway tri-oval in Las Vegas, Nevada in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race, the Boyd Gaming 300, en route to taking the checkered flag in from of the rest of the field.

The race featured 10 lead changes among six different leaders as well as six caution flag periods. Aside of Larson, Christopher Bell, Justin Allgaier, Ryan Blaney, Tyler Reddick and Cole Custer led laps throughout the race.

Bell, the highest finishing Toyota driver, led six laps en route to a 2nd place finish, Allgaier led 12 laps en route to a 3rd place finish, Blaney, the highest finishing Ford driver, led 33 laps en route to a 4th place finish, Reddick led three laps en route to an 8th place finish, and Custer led four laps en route to a 9th place finish.

Bell, who was the top finisher among Xfinity Series regulars, won the first stage and Larson, who drives the #42 Chevrolet for Chip Ganassi Racing full-time in the Cup Series, won the second stage before going on to win the race for his first victory of the season in any of NASCAR’s top three series.

Larson is set to start tomorrow’s Cup Series race, the Pennzoil 400, in 5th place as the top Chevrolet driver.
