#1

Mercedes. MERCEDES-AMG PETRONAS MOTORSPORT. #1. Having won the constructors championship in each of the last four seasons, having had the driver who has won the drivers championship in each of the last four seasons, and having not had a driver finish lower than 3rd place in the drivers standings in each of the last four seasons, there is no reason not to believe that Mercedes will, once again, be the team to beat in the 2018 season. Their dominant run atop Formula One will likely continue.. Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport

Conclusion

While things are expected to be tight atop the constructors standings between Mercedes and Ferrari in the 2018 Formula One season, Mercedes should be considered the #1 team until proven otherwise.

More from Formula One

Mercedes have won the last four constructors championships and their drivers have combined to win the last four drivers championships.

Meanwhile, Ferrari haven’t won a constructors championship since the 2007 season and a Ferrari driver hasn’t won the drivers championship since the 2008 season.

Red Bull Racing are also expected to improve in the 2018 season. In fact, they have had more recent success than Ferrari have, as they won the constructors championship four years in a row from 2010 and 2013 and Sebastian Vettel, who now drives for Ferrari, won the drivers championship for the team in each of those three seasons. But will they overtake Mercedes in 2018?
