Natural Light wants to put your résumé on a NASCAR Cup Series car, and that’s exactly what they will do for one fortunate fan at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

When you think of uploading or handing in your résumé, you think of just that: uploading your résumé to an online dropbox or perhaps e-mailing it or physically handing it in to your potential employer.

What you may not think of when it comes to uploading your résumé is having it featured on the side of a NASCAR Cup Series car — that is, unless you are Natural Light, a beer brand that sponsors the #37 JTG Daugherty Racing Chevrolet driven full-time by 25-year-old Chris Buescher.

The opening race of the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 16 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada. In that race, the South Point 400, Buescher’s #37 Chevrolet is set to feature the résumé of one very fortunate fan, courtesy of Natural Light.

Natural Light will place the winner’s photograph, contact information and resume on the side of Buescher’s car for this 267-lap race around the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.41-kilometer) tri-oval superspeedway.

Here is what Natural Light, which is commonly referred to as “Natty Light”, had to say in a news release about the matter, according to The State.

"“You worked hard in college and the struggle is real for graduates across America as you begin the hunt for a full-time job. Employers can receive over 80 entry-level resumes in a single month, so now more than ever, job-seekers need to make themselves stand out.”"

Four of out five employers agree that applicants need to find new ways to stand out when applying for jobs, and employers can receive over 80 entry-level resumes in a single month. Less than 30% of these applicants are called in for a first-round interview.

Having your résumé featured on the side of a Cup Series car certainly qualifies as “standing out” with all things considered.

To enter to give your résumé a chance to be featured on Buescher’s car, which has racked up two top five finishes, both at Daytona International Speedway, so far this season, there is one requirement: you must be 21 years or older, which makes sense seeing as how Natural Light is a beer brand.

The only other things to remember when entering this contest are to send your résumé to NattyRaceResume@anheuser-busch.com and to do so before the deadline, which is five days from now on Monday, August 6. The winner will be announced on Monday, September 10 six days before the South Point 400 is contested.
