With six races remaining in the 2018 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs, how do the sport’s 15 full-time teams rank against one another?

Chase Elliott delivered Hendrick Motorsports their second victory of the 36-race 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season by winning the opening race of the second round of the playoffs, the Gander Outdoors 400, at Dover International Speedway.

Aside of Elliott’s victory in the 404-lap race around the four-turn, 1.0-mile (1.609-kilometer) Dover International Speedway oval in Dover, Delaware to open up the round of 12, Hendrick Motorsports’ other victory this season is Elliott’s victory in the race at Watkins Glen International in early August.

Hendrick Motorsports are now one of five teams that have won at least two races this season. Stewart-Haas Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing, Team Penske and Furniture Row Racing have earned 10, eight, five and four victories through the season’s first 30 races.

More from NASCAR Cup Series

Richard Childress Racing are now the only team to win exactly one race this season. Austin Dillon won the season opener, the Daytona 500, at Daytona International Speedway, but neither he nor teammate Ryan Newman have been able to win a race since.

Of the four teams aside of Hendrick Motorsports to win at least two races this season, only one have done so as a result of only one of their drivers winning. Furniture Row Racing are a one-car team, meaning that defending Cup Series champion Martin Truex Jr. has been responsible for all four of their victories so far this year.

As a result, Hendrick Motorsports are the only multi-car team with multiple victories earned by one of their drivers and no victories earned by any of their other drivers at this point in the season.

How did Hendrick Motorsports’ second victory of the season and the rest of the action from the Gander Outdoors 400 affect the NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings? Here are the formulated NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings and the non-formulated NASCAR Cup Series Team Power Rankings with six races remaining on the 2018 schedule.
