The 31st race of the 36-race 2018 NASCAR Cup Series season is the 1000Bulbs.com 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. Here is the entry list for this race.

The NASCAR Cup Series is set to make its second trip to Talladega Superspeedway of the 2018 season this weekend for the second of three races in the round of 12, which is the second of four rounds in the 10-race playoffs.

After hosting the GEICO 500 back in late April, the four-turn, 2.66-mile (4.281-kilometer) Talladega Superspeedway oval in Lincoln, Alabama is scheduled to host the 1000Bulbs.com 500 this Sunday, October 14.

There are a total of 41 cars on the entry list for this race, although only 39 of them have confirmed drivers at this point. Assuming that 40 drivers end up qualifying for this race, this race will be the 13th race of the season to feature a full field of 40 drivers.

More from NASCAR Cup Series

Heading into the most recent race at Dover International Speedway this past Sunday, each of the last seven races had featured full fields of 40 drivers, as only five of the first 22 races of the season featured 40 drivers. However, this race featured only 39 drivers, making it the first race since the race at Watkins Glen International at the beginning of August to feature fewer than 40 drivers.

Of the 39 drivers who have been confirmed for this Sunday’s race, one has secured a spot in the third round of the playoffs, the round of 8, and 11 more are also still competing to win the championship. Four of the others are playoff drivers who have already been eliminated from championship contention.

Of the 23 others, 13 are full-time drivers who have competed in each of the 30 races that have been contested so far this season and 10 are part-time drivers. Of these 10 part-time drivers, all 10 have competed in at least one race so far this season.

Here is a list of the 10 part-time drivers who are set to compete alongside the 12 round of 12 drivers and 17 other full-time drivers in the 1000Bulbs.com 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, October 14.

NOTE: The two part-time cars without confirmed drivers for this race are also featured on this list.
