The four test sessions at Circuit of the Americas that made up IndyCar’s Spring Training ahead of the 2019 season are in the books. Here are the combined results of these sessions.

With just over three weeks to go until the 2019 IndyCar season is scheduled to get underway, Spring Training is in the books. Four test sessions took place at Circuit of the Americas earlier this week.

Two of these test sessions took place on Tuesday, February 12 while the other two took place on Wednesday, February 13.

A total of 25 drivers, of whom 20 are confirmed as full-time drivers for the 2019 season, participated in these four tests sessions. Of the five non full-time drivers who participated in these four sessions, four have been confirmed for at least one race through the 17-race season.

RC Enerson, who drove the #23 Carlin Chevrolet in these four sessions, is the only one of these five drivers who has not been confirmed for at least one race through the season.

Harding Steinbrenner Racing rookie Colton Herta topped the speed charts in three of these four test sessions around the 20-turn, 3.427-mile (5.515-kilometer) Circuit of the Americas road course in Austin, Texas in his #88 Honda while Andretti Autosport’s Alexander Rossi topped the other one in his #27 Honda. Herta topped the speed charts in the first three test sessions of this year’s Spring Training while Rossi topped the speed chart in fourth and final one.

The 18-year-old Herta, who is the youngest full-time driver in the series, ended up recording the fastest lap of the 2,367 laps that were completed by the 25 drivers in these four test sessions, and he did so in the second session. He recorded a top lap time of 106.6258 seconds (115.706 miles per hour) during this session.

Rossi ended up finishing in second place overall behind Herta by recording a top lap time of 106.8535 seconds (115.459 miles per hour) in the fourth and final test session, completing a 1-2 Honda driver sweep of the combined 2019 Spring Training speed chart.

Here are the combined results of the four IndyCar Spring Training test sessions at Circuit of the Americas ahead of the 2019 season.
