Like there were in the 2019 IndyCar season opener, 24 drivers are set to compete in the season’s second race, the IndyCar Classic, at Circuit of the Americas. Here is the entry list for this race.

The second race of the 17-race 2019 IndyCar season is scheduled to take place this Sunday, March 24 at Circuit of the Americas, marking the shortest wait between the sport’s first two races in a season since the 2015 season when they were just 14 days apart.

A total of 24 drivers are on the entry list for this 60-lap race around the 20-turn, 3.41-mile (5.488-kilometer) Circuit of the Americas road course in Austin, Texas, matching the driver total on the entry list for the season opener, the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida. This race was contested on Sunday, March 10.

Of the 24 drivers who are on the entry list for the IndyCar Classic, 20 are full-time drivers, of whom all 20 competed in the season opener. The other four are part-time drivers, of whom two competed in the season opener while two are set to make their 2019 season debut in this race.

More from IndyCar

Carlin’s Charlie Kimball and DragonSpeed rookie Ben Hanley drove the #23 Chevrolet and the #81 Chevrolet, respectively, in the season opener, but they will not compete in this Sunday’s race.

Rookie Patricio O’Ward is set to replace Kimball at Carlin but as the driver of the #31 Chevrolet for this race while DragonSpeed are not set to field the #81 Chevrolet. They are only set to do so in four of the season’s remaining 16 races.

The other part-time driver who is set to compete in this race is Kyle Kaiser, who is set to drive for Juncos Racing. Juncos Racing are set to make their 2019 season debut in this race by fielding the #32 Chevrolet for the 2017 Indy Lights champion, who made the first four starts of his IndyCar career last year.

Aside of the fact that they are set to field the #32 Chevrolet for Kaiser in this race, nothing else is known about Juncos Racing’s plans for the 2019 season.
