The Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway, the 16th race on the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, is set to feature a total of 38 drivers.

The 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season is scheduled to resume this Sunday, June 23 following the season’s second off weekend. It is scheduled to resume with the season’s 16th race, the Toyota Save Mart 350, at Sonoma Raceway.

A total of 38 drivers are set to compete in this 90-lap race around the 12-turn, 2.52-mile (4.056-kilometer) Sonoma Raceway road course in Sonoma, California, which is tied for the sixth highest driver total on an entry list so far this season.

The races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Auto Club Speedway earlier this season also featured 38 drivers. Only the races at Daytona International Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway, Kansas Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway featured more so far in 2019.

More from NASCAR Cup Series

Of the 38 drivers who are set to compete in this race, 33 are full-time drivers. Of these 33 full-time drivers, 32 have competed in each of the season’s first 15 races, with Premium Motorsports’ Ross Chastain being the only one who hasn’t, and of these 32 drivers, 31 are eligible to score points in the Cup Series. StarCom Racing’s Landon Cassill, like Chastain, is not.

Of the five part-time drivers who are set to compete in this race, three are set to drive for chartered teams while two are set to drive for non-chartered teams, although the significance of this is minimal given the fact that the entry list for this race is not full and therefore nobody will be bumped out of the field.

Petty Ware Racing’s J.J. Yeley, who is set to make his first start of the season in this race, as well as Rick Ware Racing’s Cody Ware and Spire Motorsports’ Justin Haley are set to drive for chartered teams in this race while Premium Motorsports’ Reed Sorenson and Gaunt Brothers Racing’s Parker Kligerman are set to drive for non-chartered teams.
