The second half of the 2019 NASCAR Cup Series season is set to begin with a field featuring 36 drivers in the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway.

This Saturday night’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Kentucky Speedway, the Quaker State 400, is set to kick off the second half of the 36-race 2019 season, and it is set to do so with a field containing a total of 36 drivers.

This total of 36 drivers ties the lowest driver total on an entry list through the season’s first 19 races, as 36 drivers also competed in the races at ISM Raceway, Martinsville Speedway and Michigan International Speedway.

All 32 of the full-time drivers who have competed in each of the season’s first 18 races are set to compete in this 267-lap race around the four-turn, 1.5-mile (2.414-kilometer) Kentucky Speedway oval in Sparta, Kentucky.

Additionally, Premium Motorsports’ Ross Chastain, who has missed only the race at Michigan International Speedway so far this season, is set to compete in this race as well.

Chastain and StarCom Racing’s Landon Cassill are the only two full-time drivers who are set to compete in this race but are not eligible to score points in the Cup Series.

That leaves three part-time drivers who are set to compete in this race, including  one who has been confirmed and two who have not. Spire Motorsports’ Quin Houff is the lone part-time driver who has been confirmed for this race. He is set to drive the #77 Chevrolet, which won in shocking fashion in this past Sunday’s race at Daytona International Speedway with Justin Haley behind the wheel.

The drivers of the #51 Petty Ware Racing Ford and the #52 Rick Ware Racing Chevrolet have not yet been confirmed.

All three of these part-time drivers are set to drive for chartered teams in this race, although this is relatively insignificant, as it has been in most races so far this season and in recent seasons, because of the fact that the driver total on the entry list does not exceed the maximum field size of 40.

Here is a list of the 36 drivers who are set to compete in the 2019 Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway.
