Formula E Team Power Rankings after 2019 New York City ePrix Race 2

With the 2018-2019 Formula E season in the books, how do the sport’s 11 teams rank against one another in the Formula E Team Power Rankings?

Envision Virgin Racing’s Robin Frijns closed out the 13-race 2018-2019 Formula E season by winning the season finale, New York City ePrix Race 2, at Brooklyn Street Circuit to secure his second victory of the season and the second victory of his Formula E career.

Frijns’s vicory in this 36-lap race around the 14-turn, 1.475-mile (2.374-kilometer) Brooklyn Street Circuit temporary street circuit in Red Hook, Brooklyn, New York was Envision Virgin Racing’s third victory of the season, and it tied them with DS Techeetah atop the wins list to close out the season.

Frijns also won the Paris ePrix while teammate Sam Bird won the Santiago ePrix. Envision Virgin Racing ended the season as the only team to have both of their drivers win at least one race.

Aside of Envision Virgin Racing, seven teams won at least one race this season, of which two won multiple races. As stated above, DS Techeetah won three races, all with driver champion Jean-Eric Vergne. Meanwhile, Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler won two races, both with Lucas di Grassi.

BMW i Andretti Motorsport, Mahindra Racing, Venturi, Panasonic Jaguar Racing and Nissan e.dams each won one race this season with Antonio Felix da Costa, Jerome d’Ambrosio, Edoardo Mortara, Mitch Evans and Sebastien Buemi, respectively.

The New York City ePrix Race 2 was the 13th and final race of the 2018-2019 Formula E season, meaning that Formula E action is set to resume in the 2019-2020 season, which is scheduled to get underway with Ad Diriyah ePrix Race 1 on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Riyadh Street Circuit in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. The 2019-2020 season is set to feature a total of 14 races.
