Conor Daly has been confirmed at Carlin for both of the final two oval races of the 2019 IndyCar season at Pocono Raceway and World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway.
When the 17-race 2019 IndyCar season wraps up, Conor Daly is slated to have competed in each of the five oval races on the calendar.
The 27-year-old Noblesville, Indiana native has been confirmed as the driver of the #59 Carlin Chevrolet in each of the two remaining oval races on the schedule at Pocono Raceway and World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway.
He and Carlin both confirmed this news on Twitter.

The 200-lap race around the three-turn, 2.5-mile (4.023-kilometer) Pocono Raceway oval in Long Pond, Pennsylvania is scheduled to take place this Sunday, August 18, and the 248-lap race around the four-turn, 1.25-mile (2.012-kilometer) World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway oval in Madison, Illinois is scheduled to take place the following Saturday, August 24.
Charlie Kimball has already been confirmed as the driver of the team’s second car in the former, but they have not yet confirmed a second driver for the latter.
After driving the #25 Honda for Andretti Autosport in the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Daly was signed as the driver of the #59 Chevrolet for the races at Texas Motor Speedway and Iowa Speedway.

These signings came following the announcement that Max Chilton, who began the season as the full-time driver of the #59 Chevrolet, would give up competing in oval races.
Daly finished these three races in 10th, 11th and 13th place, respectively, and he currently sits in 13th in the oval championship standings.
Daly also signed with Andretti Autosport to drive the #25 Honda in the season finale at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on Sunday, September 22. This race is set to mark his first road course race of the season, and it is set to be his sixth and final start of the season when it’s all said and done.
